The Gathering Table: Fresh, Local, Memorable

The Gathering Table has a rich history rooted in the traditions of Santa Barbara County. Originally located inside The Ballard Inn, our restaurant quickly became known for its unique blend of Asian and French influences. Although we closed our doors in 2022, we are excited to revive The Gathering Table in the space of the former Succulent Café. The Gathering Table 2.0 continues the legacy of its first iteration, serving a shareable menu that emphasizes seasonal, locally sourced produce, seafood, and meats. Our dishes are designed for sharing among friends, making every meal a communal experience that celebrates good food, love, and memories.

Our Philosophy

At The Gathering Table, we believe in the power of fresh, local ingredients to create unforgettable flavors.

Our menu reflects a commitment to quality and sustainability, showcasing the best of what the region has to offer. We take pride in crafting dishes that are both innovative and true to their roots, combining traditional techniques with contemporary twists.

Ambiance and Design

Inspired by the charming Danish aesthetic of Solvang, our restaurant features a design that blends natural woods, ebony stains, and terracotta accents. The warm, welcoming environment mirrors the abundant, inviting table that is at the heart of our brand. Whether you're here for a casual lunch or a special dinner, you'll find The Gathering Table to be a place where you can relax and enjoy the company of friends and family.

The Gathering Table 2.0 will take cues from its first iteration inside the Inn, serving a shareable menu with Asian and French influences, featuring seasonal, locally sourced produce, seafood, and meats."
